Quality Team Leader - Canberra

Located in Canberra, ACT join a leading organisation delivering advanced, high-tech solutions, and take the lead in driving quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across a growing manufacturing operation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will lead a small QA team and play a key role in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, ensuring products and processes meet strict quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a QA team to meet quality and production targets
• Drive continuous improvement across quality systems and processes
• Manage non-conformance, corrective actions (CAPA), and audit activities
• Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Partner with production, engineering, and supply chain teams

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ experience in QA/QMS within manufacturing
• Proven team leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems
• Experience with NCR, CAPA, and internal audits
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Experience in electronics or high-tech manufacturing
• Exposure to IPCA600 and IPCA610
• Continuous improvement / process optimisation experience
